Unfiled Tax Returns Help in Bergen County
Whether it is one year or ten, unfiled returns are fixable. We rebuild the records, file what the IRS and the states require, and then deal with whatever balance comes out of it. Getting ahead of it before the IRS contacts you is the strongest position to be in.
Monday to Friday 10am to 6pm, weekends 11am to 5pm.
What we handle
Every year filed, every number supported.
No shoebox required. Most of the records can be rebuilt from what has already been reported.
Missing W-2s and 1099s
We pull your IRS wage and income transcripts, which list what employers, banks and brokers reported for each year.
Substitute returns
If the IRS already filed a return for you, it likely left out your deductions. We replace it with a real one.
Business returns
Schedule C, S Corporation and Partnership returns, plus the payroll and sales tax filings that go with them.
State returns
New Jersey, New York and any other state you owe a return, filed alongside the federal years.
The balance afterward
Payment plans, penalty relief or an offer in compromise once the returns show what is actually owed.
Staying current
Estimates or withholding set up so the next year does not start the cycle again.
How it works
From behind to current.
You authorize us
You sign a power of attorney, IRS Form 2848, online. From then on IRS notices come to us too, and we speak for you.
We rebuild the years
We pull transcripts, collect what you have and fill the gaps, then prepare each year.
We file and resolve
Every required year is filed, then we arrange terms or relief for any balance.
Common questions
Questions people ask first.
Will I go to jail for not filing?
Criminal cases are rare and usually involve fraud or large hidden income. For most people, the IRS wants the returns filed and the balance resolved.
I do not have my W-2s or 1099s.
That is common. IRS wage and income transcripts show what was reported to the IRS for each year, and we work from those.
How many years do I need to file?
Usually the last six, but it depends on your situation and any IRS notices. Older years may still need filing if the IRS has asked for them.
I think I am owed refunds for some years.
Refunds are generally lost three years after the original due date, so the oldest refund years are the most urgent to file.
